E32A – Ex-Indonesian Citizen Visa Indonesia
The E32A visa, also known as the Repatriation Visa (Ex-Indonesian Citizen), is a residence permit designed for former Indonesian citizens who now hold foreign citizenship. This visa allows them to return to Indonesia and live there for an extended period.
Key features of the E32A Visa:
- Validity: The E32A visa is valid for 5 years and can be renewed.
- Activities: This visa allows you to live in Indonesia but generally restricts your ability to work or conduct business. There may be exceptions depending on your situation, so it’s important to consult with Indonesian immigration authorities.
- Investment requirement: To qualify for the E32A visa, you’ll need to make a minimum investment in Indonesia. The current requirement is a US$35,000 investment in government bonds or publicly listed Indonesian company stocks.
- Family: E32A visa holders can bring their spouse and children to Indonesia under dependent visas.

Stay

Processing time
- Most tourist visas are processed within (6 to 7) working days.
- We will send the visa to the registered email after your application is approved.
- Your visa application may take longer to process if the information required for your visa is incomplete or missing.
With this visa you can
- Conducting activities related to tourism, and visiting friends or family.
- Travel to and from Indonesia.
- Carry out employment-related activities or attending education, as long as it has been reported to Immigration (using the multiple activity reporting process).
You must
- Be financially sufficient during your stay in Indonesia.
- Comply with all visa conditions and Indonesia laws.
- Report on the compliance of commitments within 90 days after the date of entry.
Visa Validity
- This visa must be used to enter Indonesia within a maximum of 90 days from the date of issue..
- Please note that the validity period of the visa is different from the period of stay, please check your visa for information on the period of stay.
Other information
- If you meet the conditions, you will automatically obtain the electronic limited stay permit (e-ITAS) and the Re-Entry Permit upon arrival at the Immigration Checkpoint (you do not need to go to the immigration office to obtain a Limited Stay Permit and Re-Entry Permit).
- In addition to the electronic limited stay permit, the limited stay permit also has a physical card available at the immigration office.
- Staying in Indonesia over the period of your stay permit, engaging in prohibited activities, not complying with visa conditions, and/or not complying with Indonesian laws may result in you paying fines, being deported, and/or other legal charges.
