E31F - Visa for Lawfully Adopted Child of Indonesian Citizen
The E31F visa is a Limited Stay Permit for Family Dependents specifically designed for lawfully adopted children of Indonesian citizens. This visa allows the adopted child to reside in Indonesia for temporary purposes.
Eligibility:
This visa is for children who have been legally adopted by an Indonesian citizen. Proof of a legal adoption process and a court decision recognizing the legal relationship between the child and the Indonesian parent are required.

An E31F visa holder can:
- Live in Indonesia
- Travel in and out of Indonesia for tourism or visiting family and friends
- Attend school (needs to be reported to immigration authorities)
Important Notes:
- Unlike some other E31 family dependent visas, there is no mention of working with an E31F visa. It’s best to clarify with Indonesian immigration if work is permitted under this category.

Visa Validity
- This visa must be used to enter Indonesia within a maximum of 90 days from the date of issue.

- Staying in Indonesia over the period of your stay permit, engaging in prohibited activities, not complying with visa conditions, and/or not complying with Indonesian laws may result in you paying fines, being deported, and/or other legal charges.
- In addition to the electronic limited stay permit, the limited stay permit also has a physical card available at the immigration office.
